Tibits just-off Regent Street is my default place to go most times I'm in London. My non-veggie friends love it too. As it's pay-by-weight you're not penalised for not being obese (the converse of most buffets). The range of items is usually pretty good, though the vegan ones are frequently cold items. There are always some hot ones too. It's hard to really place what makes this place so great, it's a combination of factors. I would suggest going here at least once if you're visiting. They accept tastecard discounts too.
