Lovely and unexpected. I just tried Bamiyan for the first time and will definitely be back! The bolani (grilled flatbread stuffed with a potato and veggie purée) was crisp, hot, fresh, and delicious, especially when paired with the homemade pumpkin puree, which was like a savory, less-sweet pumpkin pie filling. The owner / chef / server Nadja was super sweet, friendly, and knowledgeable. She guided me about ingredients and I had total confidence that my meal was vegan. Can't wait to try the eggplant next time I'm in town! Cute atmosphere too with real oil- burning candles on the table. It was a Monday night and they were empty - please go give them some vegan business!
