- Wonderful Polish cuisine with a healthy twist
Similar in simplistic hipster interior decor to the other vegan spots in Warsaw, this bistro is cosy spot for a vegan, mouth-watering take on traditional Polish cuisine. We had a Schnitzel with mashed potato and cucumber salad - definitely the best schnitzel-style vegan "meat" we've tried. The breading, neither oily nor dry, complemented the "meat" instead of overpowering it and the overall taste as well as texture surprisingly authentic. Another dish we tried consisted of veggie patties, perfectly roasted whole carrots and cabbage salad. A very rich (not in the sense of "oily"!) Polish soup/stew rounded our meal off. It was easily my favorite dish, a caleidoscope of flavours created by the potatoes, very savoury kielbasa-style veg sausage, vinegar and herbs. One of the best dinners we had in Warsaw for sure.
