  • Polish Vegan Comfort Food

Lokal Vegan Bistro is the newest addition to the ever-growing Warsaw vegan quest. The menu is limited but offers four main dishes (two excellent Polish-inspired options, Penne with tempeh and Goulash), two seasonal soups, two fast food items (seitan kebab and vegetable pie), and some desserts. We tried the tomato soup with homemade dumplings (polish-style green gnocchi), the beetroot cutlets with millet, and the soy "schnitzel" with mashed potatoes. Everything was beautifully cooked and presented and I'm very eager to try the rest of the menu! The restaurant is welcoming, bright and spacious, and the staff is very friendly. Gluten-free. Pet-friendly. Wi-fi and card payments available soon (payments by cash only).
