• Cafe bar atmosphere serving restaurant food

Visto is a large lounge bar overlooking Torbay. We appreciated the ambiance; there is a retro feel and an informal relaxed atmosphere with paintings on the wall,a book-swap area and games for children. Reservations can be made for groups of 8 or more. You order at the bar and the food will be brought to your table. There is a separate vegan menu with a variety of dishes, including puddings. We ate at Visto on a Monday evening. There were only a few other people there, but I imagine that at weekends, and in the summer, it will be very busy. We were impressed by the quality of the food. I had the Falafal burger followed by the Dark chocolate and ginger torte - a real treat. There is a range of drinks from milk shakes to spirits. Service was prompt and friendly.
