- Vega = Vegan heaven
We had just a few days in Madrid, but visited Vega 3 times. The atmosphere is welcoming and bohemian. The food is fresh, inventive & heavenly. The service is friendly. There is no English menu, but the staff speak some English. With all the food being vegan and so good, you don't need to understand it! It is open every day and almost always busy. We first came on a Sunday evening for dinner and they were full, but the waitress managed to squeeze us in. We had lunch, dinner and drinks with tapas on our three visits. We would highly recommend!
