I have been waiting for a place to sell acai bowls for years in my area. Sadly when we finally get one they totally take advantage of no one else having them and charge 10$ for a coffee mug sized container. I would drive from several counties to pay $10 for that sized acai bowl if it were the best, or close, but it's not by a long shot. It's a very bland mixture of a bizarre consistency that doesn't resemble any bowl I've had anywhere in CA, Hawaii or Costa Rica. Acai isn't bland so I don't know how this happens. The fruit on top is sparse and they're laughing all the way to the bank. Google acai bowl and make your own at home with packets from Whole Foods.
