  • Favorite vegan lunch spot

I’m so happy to finally have a vegan restaurant near my work and I’m planning to try everything on the menu. My favorites so far are the Mental Lentil Wrap, the No Soy Capitan, and the Insane Taco Sliders. Their homemade soy chorizo is some of the best tasting faux meat I’ve ever had. The wraps are a bit pricey but they are big enough to split into two lunches for me, especially since they come with a side of rice. I’ve tried some of the salads and the quinoa bowl as well and they are very flavorful for a lighter meal. I was less impressed with the Biggie Burger, and the breaded chick’n that comes in the Chicken Homie and Chicken’s Friend. The Geniroll Lentil was amazingly tasty, but the portion could be bigger for the price. Speaking of price, this is a tip-free restaurant that actually pays living wages, which is a refreshing philosophy in Miami. You can tell that the food is prepared with love and the ingredients are fresh and high quality. If you order one of the signature wraps or anything that has the Choices logo on the menu, you won’t be disappointed. Did I mention they also have kombucha on tap? What’s not to love!
