- Super Cheap, Super Fast
I originally wrote a review in 2012, but am now deleting it and rewriting, since it's literally not the same place it used to be since the original owner died and new owner took over a few years back. I used to be able to feed a family of four for $20. It was cheap with basic staples (ie. three sizes of black beans or white rice, which was my kids' go-to), but the new place is a bit more. Not to say it's bad, but not what it used to be. Now, Big Island has a great beach vibe; the food is more sophisticated and very flavorful; but the prices are much higher. I also love the salsa box.
