• Great Burgers

My girlfriend and I popped in here for a quick lunch while in Cologne. It is situated in the middle of a busyish street and doesn't particularly stand out, but interior is clean and modern, and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. There is a wide array of juices and smoothies, and in the main the food centres around different types of wraps and burgers that you can have. I had the 'chicken' burger - I know that a lot of vegans are not fans of imitation meat so this aspect of the menu might not be to everyone's taste as it is exactly that, something which resembled and tasted like chicken as far as possible. I am the opposite and have days where I fancy a burger and chips that looks much like the ones I had before becoming vegan and in this respect Venjoy hits the spot very well. There were a number of things on the menu which we would both have loved to have tried but didn't have the time (or the appetite!) but overall it's well worth having a meal here.
