- Great vegan options
Blue Heron's probably the best vegan-friendly bakery in Olympia. They have a wide range of vegan options, from tasty "Krunch" bars to deeelicious brownies - and the brownies are so good we went back the same day to get more. I also liked the Alternate Date Pecan, which is essentially a vegan oatmeal cookie, but cookie-wise, the chocolate-chip walnut's even better. It's a little dingy-looking, and the service is a little uneven, but the baked goods make it well worth the trip.
