- Lots of options in this small cafe
I hate to say that I went to this cafe about a year ago and forgot about it. It's located in a condo complex, The Pelaton on Arapahoe. When I sent a year ago I recall tring several of the vegan mini donuts. All tasty, but I if I remember right they each cost $1.50. This visit prompted my review and will make me go more often. They offer a number of vegan pastries and the bisquits are vegan too. Today I had the BanMi Sandwich with Portobella's served on a cibatta. It was very good, though for $9.75 + tax and tip I'd like it to include a small side, like chips or side salad to go with it. They had other vegan sandwich offerings like hummus, avocado, or have beets added in lieu of meat on a few of the other sandwiches. Cashew Cheese is offered too. Todays soup and chili were both vegan. The small Breakfast menu seems like a deal at $5.95. The vegan option is a bisquit with scambled tofu and veggies. I will go back for that and to sample more treats. I should mention they also serve beer, Avery IPA and Avery White Rascal for $2!!! So if the meal is a little high I suppose it makes up for super cheap, but high quality, beer! My rating is really 3 1/2 cows, as I the food is better than OK, but the value makes it just less than good!
