- Dire. Poor service. Horrible food.
I've been to the painted elephant three times, each time hoping that it'd be better. It didn't. The staff were unfriendly and we waited at least 20 minutes for a food to arrive each time (once we were the only people in the place). The food was hugely overpriced and just plain disappointing. I was so excited when I found out this was opening but wouldn't want to go again. If I could award no stars I would.
