• Killer without any killing!

Hooray! There is a new vegan place in North Jersey and I happily tried it out today. I was greeted by a fabulous woman who chatted with me while I waited for my to-go food to be ready. I ordered the Brussels sprouts and the Mac & Cheeze. The sprouts - holy cow(less)! Amazing! Little balls of tastiness. They were tiny and perfectly seasoned and roasted. The Mac & Cheeze was just what I wanted on a cold rainy day. It was cheezy and smoky and oh-so-good! I also got a milkshake because how can I resist ordering a one when given the opportunity? They were out of a lot of flavors due to tonight being the first night of Hanukkah. Their supplier is a kosher joint in Brooklyn. I asked for a recommendation and I went for something I wouldn't normally order. Whoa! Cherry vanilla shake for the win! I wish this place well. There is a shortage of vegan restaurants in Jersey on the whole, and this place seems to be run by some cool folks. Give it a try if you're in the area.
