I lived in Egypt for 5 months and the falafel was a main staple in my diet. Finding falafels in America that compare to the ones over there is sometimes hard, but I thought Maoz's really weren't bad. I went there last night (on a Sunday) and it was PACKED. it's a very small place, so don't bring a large party. I got a small falafel meal (falafel sandwich, fries, and a drink) and it was around $7. the falafel tasted fresh and the eggplant was amazing. I felt very rushed, the staff was kind of "blah" and the location of the salad bar isn't good (I had to reach through people in the line to try to pile on my toppings). oh, and they're cash only.
