  • Nice hideout with quality food

I ate at this Pun Pun (near the intersection of 121 and Suthep road, there is also an other one in town) four times on my trip to CM. The same guy was always the waiter, and then there were young kids helping him. He was really nice, helpful and understood a bit of English. My favourite was the pineaple curry, in addition to which I also tried a few other dishes, but don't remember any more which were they. They have some weir tofu-based stuff on their menu that my friends who tried them didn't like. The green papaya salad (spicy) was also good. Had that every time also. The beetroot juice was not good. I saw them make it so it was fresh, but it tasted a bit too much like dirt for my liking. Rice portions are ridiculously small. I ordered five every time straight away. They don't have the traditional sticky-rice-mango, but other similar dessert. Price is very cheap, half of what you pay at AUM. No wifi. Toile ok.
