- Sneaky vegan pasty stop!
In the middle of Sauchiehall Street is a Holland and Barrett with a fridge and freezer, ideal for a quick lunchtime vegan pasty stop! There is the usual good range of health foods, and I discovered that the Neals Yard cola bottles are vegan.. joy. There is a 1p sale at the moment; buy one item at normal price then get certain items for 1p (said vegan bears are part of this). A great range of herbs and spices, dried fruit and nuts and also a selection of teas and unusual soft drinks like "Zen energy" (a caffeinated drink like Red Bull etc. but far more natural and without the caffeine, intriguing).
