  • A good alternative in Arequipa

Set menu really reasonably priced.... 7 soles I think. Comes with a salad, your choice of a couple of mains, a drink, and a desert. Not many vegan options but the servers will give you more portions of the other dishes to make up for it. You have a choice of three beverages soy, quinoa and some other light tasking tea. Quinoa was the best. Empanadas were huge and tasty, we got a couple to go for our bus rides. Also sells delicious integral cookies that are vegan and good for hiking or a long bus ride and a delicious apple desert thing held us over until lunch food arrived. Owner is Taiwanese and that is always a plus in my book :) Only inconsistent thing was that lunch could arrive anytime between 12 and 2 pm which can break up your day a little weirdly.
