- Great vegan options
. Ate here recently with occasional meat munching husband. It is a nice friendly pub/restaurant on Great Western Road and is dog friendly too which is a bonus so Angus the cocker spaniel was also in attendance and was brought a bowl of water. Had a delicious mushroom taco (get 4 not 2 that is too small :)) as this was the Vegan special. Really veg friendly menu with Vegan and Vegetarian dishes marked up and they have Seitan tacos and Burritos. It all tasted very fresh. Love that they marked up the booze too with little VGs to indicate 'vegan'. It would be great if they stocked a couple of vegan wines to complete the picture. Great job Squid and Whale, we will be back!
