  • A great option for vegans in Santiago

We stumbled upon this restaurant whilst walking through a small alley. We took a look at the menu and saw several items marked 'V', and after checking with the manager, discovered they were vegan. This is quite surprising in this type of restaurant (full of locals and not too touristy) and the manager was fully aware of veganism. There were 8 or 9 options that could be had as'raciones' (for two to share or as a main) and some tapas (slightly smaller but still generous). Really good home cooking, we had the pisto with rice, pimientos de padron, and lentejas (lentils) cooked in the Gallego style. Prices were good for the size of the portions - between 3.50-8.00 euros. Highly recommended.
