We're always a bit skeptical of pizza places, because of the way milk and other animal products find their way into the dough and sauce. ....BUT we happen to know the owner at Biga Pizza, and he has assured us that they keep the sauce and dough vegan. People can add cheese to that if they want, but vegans can also enjoy a pie and some piece of mind. Biga Pizza came up with their own vegan pizza for an event we went to that they catered, and when we dine in house we order our favorite toppings which can include fresh vegetables, kalamata or black olives, other antipasti, mushrooms, and roasted garlic. The waitstaff are knowledgeable about ingredients, and the owner/chef is happy to accommodate vegans. This is hands down the best vegan pizza option in Missoula!
