- Indian-inspired veggie in Palermo
Krishna is located in Palermo, just a few minutes from where we're staying, so we decided to check it out. It's a little pricey, but seems to be about average for the neighbourhood. The venue seems quirky, and it has a lovely atmosphere with a very friendly staff, but the low seating wasn't particularly comfortable. They have a separate English language menu, as well as a menu with only their vegan options. This hits a stumbling point if you don't speak/read Spanish, because the English menu doesn't note which dishes are vegan. As other reviewers have mentioned, there isn't a lot of variety on the menu here, but we enjoyed the things we ordered. Worth noting, this is the only place we've seen in Buenos Aires so far that serves alcohol-free beer! I was in straightedge vegan heaven. The potato and pea curry with coconut rice was delicious, very mild but this allowed the more subtle flavours to come through.
