• Great food but rude manager

Our experience started well, and ended on a very sour note. The first negative incident was when it was stressed to us that we are not to forget to get our food weighed, despite having just confirmed that we knew how it worked there. The food was mostly very nice, and the place spacious and clean. We also had a very courteous and friendly French server. When our meal was finished and we'd settled the bill, we were faced with the same manager at the door who originally greeted us, who then confronted us to confirm that we had actually paid for our meal. I was even still holding my payment card and receipt in my hand, and he had not asked the same of anyone else. He had just wished them a good evening. He showed no interest to ask if we enjoyed our meal, or whether we had a good evening. So I can assume this is because we were dressed more casual than he would have liked. We have never experienced this sort of questioning and suspicion before at any other restaurant, and we found it insulting and offensive. We certainly won't be returning there again, or recommending it to anyone.
