- excellent value for the money
We stumbled upon this lovely little family-run eatery last Sunday night while searching for another vegan restaurant. You can't miss the sign at the entrance. Inside reveals a very simple, basic Vietnamese eatery where monks and nuns also eat. The kitchen is opened to the front and back. Staff doesn't speak English, but is very friendly. The menu is printed on the wall, but they also have some dishes already made for the evening so you can just go and point at those you want to eat. The prices are super cheap, and the size of the dishes allow for many, many more. We were 2 and ordered 2 drinks and app. 8 different dishes. In total we paid 105k vnd! There hasn't been another restaurant where you can eat this cheap! The taste was very well done, though probably not fantastic, but more than worth the money! We will definitely come back there when we visit Hue again. ps: We didn't use the toilet. There's a sink to the left of the kitchen for washing hands before eating though.
