We had two breakfasts and two dinners here. We asked for vegan breakfasts on the booking request form for the hotel. At our first breakfast the head chef (Executive Chef) sat down with us and discussed our preferences, mentioning a whole host of dishes he could cook for us including traditional Balinese banana dishes, crispy tempeh, stuffed tofu, GadoGado (steamed vegies with a peanut chilli sauce), curries, soups. We requested the crispy tempeh (thinly cut tempeh in a rice batter, no egg, deep fried). It was delicious. The ambiance is lovelly in the Bainese style of high bamboo roof with ceiling fans and no walls, surrounded by lush vegetation. There are also vegan options on the standard menu and breakfast buffet so we were able to eat very well. Highly recommended if only for the individual attention and effort taken to meet our needs.
