- Vegan cake surprise
I went to Weymouth for a weekend and after browsing happy cow and the web found there were no vegan eateries so was delighted when I strolled through the town only to bump into a big sign saying Vegan Cake! Serves non vegan cake, not sure about vegetarian status so would need to check. On the vegan side there was a banana cake, vanilla cake and chocolate brownie. I didn't try the banana but the others were good. Vanilla cake was my favourite, 3 layered sponge with lots of icing. These are not health food cakes which is great for me as I can do without the seeds and wholemeal goodness when I am eating a cake.
