- Good mostly vegetarian food
So few options in Salvador for vegetarian food - this is a buffet oasis, albeit expensive at R$62/kg or R$50 unlimited. Right in the centre, just off the huge square, near the golden church. Beware they do a few chicken and fish dishes - ask and they will happily tell you what is vegetarian. Drinks are a rip off, R$7 for a can that would be R$5 in other restaurants or R$2.50 in the supermarket. I don't like being conned like this, so it's cost them a star. They also add a 10% service charge when you serve yourself. What a scam. Open 11.30-4 Mondays to Fridays, 12-4 Saturdays, closed Sundays.
