- Key Largo Oasis of Veg
A couple of weeks ago we made the trek down highway 1 to Key West and found this little gem in Key Largo which is about the half way mark from Fort Lauderdale. We sat outside on the patio with a spectacular view and enjoyed tasty veg food. Be sure to ask for the veg menu which has plenty of options that can be veganized, and the staff is very knowledgeable with advice on how to do that. I enjoyed the vegan mushroom kebab. My understanding is that they make all their condiments from scratch INCLUDING their ketchup. Definitely stop in here and you will understand what a positive different that makes.
