- Veg friendly fast eating
Juices, smoothies and salads - pretty standard fare for lunch. This place nails it for a selection of juices and smoothies, and it has some decent salad and veg entrees (paninis, wraps, flatbread/ pizza, rice bowls). It's cool that they give you a calorie breakdown and list out ingredients. However, the food is not all veg. In addition, the veg options tend to be mostly vegetarian, as opposed to vegan. There is a lot of dairy/ cheese here, so if you have patience and are looking for vegan food, it can be done, but your options directly from the menu without changes... those are limited, but you could try the Thai Tofu, Ginger Tofu, Mojito Salad, Salsa, Hummus, Deconstructed Guacamole Salad or Sweet Pea Wontons. To avoid frustration.... maybe just walk in and focus on the smoothies and juices... despite the yogurt for many, there are still some good choices. If you ask what is and isn't vegan, since it's not marked, though.... be careful, you may get blindsided by the lack of knowledge. Better to trust your instinct when there is such uncertainty!
