• Could have been better!

We were pretty excited to taste some traditional Hungarian food after reading the reviews, but were pretty disappointed! The menu was very basic, with approx 2 'traditional' meals as options, the other dishes were basic pastas and Mexican!!?? Food tasted ok, however very basically cooked, similar taste and sauces on all dishes, with a canteen style sloppy presentation. While I am all for taste over appearance, it was a shame that a restaurant with so much potential could not put a little more effort into making the sloppy dishes appalling! We arrived late and staff were very keen to leave despite us leaving before the closing time.... Generally not a very good experience, we found many vegan and vegetarian options in the rest of the city on general menus with Veg and gluten free options clearly marked!
