- OK,but not many good vegan options
We went to Supergood our first night in Berlin. We were in the area, and it was the only place nearby. I was a bit disappointed, especially after reading the description of the restaurant as having something with sushi. The menu is very limited, and even more limited if you are vegan. Even the polenta sticks had cheese! (what's with vegetarians adding cheese and more cheese to everything?;-))The only thing I could really find that looked appealing was the minestrone soup. I was told that there was rice in it,but there wasn't any. I had to add a good bit of salt and pepper to make it taste like anything, and this is after being told that the stock was made there! My husband did get a seitan burger, which he said was OK,but the potatoes weren't very good. I felt that they put more into the decor than the menu. Yes,it was a huge place, and the bathrooms were pretty nice, but that was about it. The menu looked really bland Would we go back? Only if we were stuck on that end of Freidrichstrasse and was too hungry to go somewhere else. I wish I had more to say about that place, but I really wasn't impressed by the food or the menu(even if I was a regular vegetarian,it wasn't too interesting). I will give them 3 stars, since I didn't get enough to eat there to fully decide that they need to improve.
