- Some gems, some problems
We visited this place really early on a Saturday evening and were lucky to fit in as the restaurant was almost completely booked, so I definitely would recommend booking a table. We were quite surprised to hear that they didn't have any seitan that night and they substituted all seitan dishes with tofu. So we had e.g. tofu stroganoff instead of seitan stroganoff. But the problem wasn't the tofu but the recipe. The dish was ok, but it didn't resemble stroganoff at all. So it was quite a disappointment. I think it's not a good idea to name dishes with famous names, if you have created totally different recipe yourself. Another main dish we had was spinach and oyster mushroom raclette and this was a hit! But now I have to say that I haven't ever had raclette in a restaurant while I wasn't vegan, so I didn't have clear expectations. We both liked this dish a lot and ranked it as one of the best vegan main dishes that we have had in a restaurant. Desserts were also uneven. Pancake was super yummy, but we didn't like vegan cheesecake at all.
