• Incredible food, friendly environment

I live in Brooklyn and delicious vegan food is readily available pretty much everywhere. Let's just say if Seed was located in NYC, they would give many places a run for their money! Although we stayed in the French Quarter while visiting New Orleans, we made a special trip out to Seed and boy was it worth it! The food was fantastic, some of the best vegan cuisine I have ever tasted. We went a bit overboard and ordered multiple items off the menu, and every single one was crazy delicious. I was probably most impressed with the "cheese" that came with the chips and dip appetizer -- it was seriously one of the best vegan cheeses I've ever tasted! Additionally, this place has vegan beignets!!!! I can't even express in words how awesome that is to find! My fiance also tried the gumbo and Poboy and said both were fantastic. I highly recommend the pineapple, ginger, almond milk smoothie too. The staff were very friendly and attentive, even with every table being occupied. This place is fabulous and definitely a great addition to the city.
