- Delicious, especially for Brazil
Note that if the name of the restaurant really still is the Nectare, this is not prominent at all. As mentioned in the description, it's part of the Espaço Eco-Cultural Casa Jaya (a place with the typical things like yoga that get associated with veganism) and is easier to find on maps and from the street by using the Casa Jaya name. The food was really fantastic. I ate a lot more than I planned because each thing was so nice, especially various little balls and cones of things in pastry. They seemed to be versions of typical Brazilian things that I normally wouldn't be able to try. Brazilian food is so bland in general, but while the things here weren't full-on spicy they had a really moreish kick to them. I sat in the area at the front where you pay, but there is also a garden at the back next to the kitchen. It was all perfect. All vegans visiting the city must go here immediately. Don't even bother to unpack first.
