- Fresh and delicious
We had only just arrived in Salzburg, checked the Happy Cow website and like the sound of The Green Garden. It did not disappoint. Fresh ingredients prepared in a deceptively simple way with layers of flavours. The starters averaged €7.50, the mains were around €13 and the two desserts were €7.50. They also have organic wines. They have a lovely greeting of homemade bread with "vegan butter" and red kidney bean pate which is provided free of charge. Very generous of them.....but be aware that the vegan butter is solidified palm oil which is not a healthy food and environmentally not so good either.
