- Good food here
I've been to this restaurant at least 20 times over the years, and found the food to be good. Basic acceptable food, but good. Get there no later than about 100pm to get a table at lunch time because it gets very crowded with the shoppers from Risso Shopping Center (located across the street). There are several levels here, so go upstairs one or two levels if the ground floor tables are taken. They follow the general pattern of the set meal of the day that you find in Peru: a drink, an appetizer/salad, and the main plate with a few different items. Today, the meal included a fruit drink, a bowl of soup, a fruit salad, the main plate with three items and a baked apple for the dessert. Everything is in Spanish, but if needed you can always point to what someone else is eating at another table. The lunch costs 14 Soles as of June 2025. Many times, the food is heavy on carbs and light on protein. Service has gotten very slow here over the years... Today I waited over 10 minutes just to order. And, the waitress asked me to pay upon ordering (not after eating, as it used to be). Updated from previous review on 2023-06-14
