• Nice for a treat

We are fans of the Great Sage and have been there many times through the years. And I do agree with some of the posters that the food has changed, some dishes are bland or do have mock meats, some dishes are really expensive, and others are just wonderful. The problem is that vegan cooking isn't cheap if you want to use good ingredients and have a nice location. They do have a great wait staff and other events as well. However, as I have to agree, it's not for every day. And you should look at the menu before you come. It's not for the picky eater or those needing to watch the bill. That being said, we'll go back. We've never been treated badly, even though sometimes it can take a REALLY long long time to get your food. Maybe soon they will offer smaller portions for cheaper prices.
