- Vegetarian resource north of the park
Fairway is a massive grocery store that offers a wide variety of products (including eco-friendly items and organic, fair-trade items). This is one of the few large grocery stores in the upper part of Manhattan that offers vegetarian and vegan products such as nutritional yeast, daiya cheese, tofutti, alternative milks (coconut, soy, rice, almond), etc. Everything is reasonably priced although the produce is a bit steep for what you get.
