The belgian décor and beer range was great. Very nice Belgian feel and atmosphere Very committed enthusiast staff As a recently signed up vegan I was excited about finding an eating place in my town. The starter of: salt and pepper tofu cubes with a dipping peanut sauce was very good. The main of beer mushroom and cashew pie was a disappointment. This was like a strong soup with cashews and mushrooms floating under a puff pastry. It didn't meld together and seemed as it it wasn't cooked by a committed vegan / vegetarian chef and felt like a token vegan dish on the menu. (The vegetables were lovely however). The other meal - harissa roasted cauliflower - likewise didn't really meld together but the sauce was hot. We won't be returning for vegan fare but the mussels and steaks looked very good and clearly is their speciality. This is a place to go if you have meat eaters in your group. If you are all veggie or vegan I'd choose one of the other dedicated places in Norwich.
