• Little Com Chay place in Chinatown HCM city

I was walking around chinatown Ho Chi Minh city when I stumbled on this vegetarian restaurant. In Vietnam the words "Com Chay" means vegetarian restaurant. It is very near the chinatown bus station call "Cholon Bus Station" or "Cholon market". It is on the street that runs beside the bus station. The family that runs this small place speaks chinese and the place is generally clean. With stainless steel table and stool. The buffet items consist of vegetables, tofu and their specialties items like fake meat dishes. This is how you order, just point to items that you like or just let him pick for you the lunch or dinner plate. This is 10k dong or USD50 cents and comes with a bowl of soup. Extra items from their specialties selection will cost each about 5k dong, USD25 cents. My experience is that it make a reasonable healthy vegetarian meal with not over salty or taste of msg. However, on the other hand others may say it is quite blend. Looking at that day when i was trying to locate a vegetarian meal, it was not easy around that area. So this place call for a satisfying place for a healthy vegetarian meal if you happen to be visiting that area.
