- Reasonably ok
Midpoint have a few locations around Istanbul, this one on Istiklal street is pleasant enough and actually not too expensive considering that it's more of an upmarket place. The veg. selection on the menu isn't anything to get excited about however. The selection is typically generic. There is a good selection of Pizzas however, and they're actually fairly decent. However, I was disappointed by a very dodgy-tasting Bruschetta which seemed like it could have been in contact with some non-veg. In contrast, the french fries seemed fine and tasty. This place can get very busy since there is a great view of the Bosphorus towards the back, so might be better to avoid at busy times like the weekend. For a cheaper place with a similar menu, but still good quality, try Tramvay further down the street on the right towards Tunel (try the Arrabiata, order it without Parmesan).
