- Basic and cheap vegie food in Iquitos
Vegetarian food in an easy to find location, was easily made vegan for me. The day I went I got a salad, soup and main plate of vegies and mashed potato and spinach for 9 soles. It was filling but not super inspiring and everything was kind of warm and a little bit sad (including the salad and apple juice). I found other places around were better for vegie food after that, including all the amazing tropical fruit you can buy so cheaply on the side of the road, but I was glad there was somewhere so easy to find on the first day I arrived in Iquitos.
