  • Lovely ♥ Very Japanese feeling !

First of all, I'm not sure why the reviewer below complains about an open kitchen. Most Japanese restaurants have open kitchens, and this one was not as open as some I've been to! The staff were really lovely too! We went for lunch and had the lunch set which was various little Japanese dishes, a tofu bake thing as the main, and a carrot jelly for dessert. It was really delicious food ! They also offer a refill for rice and although it is already enough food, the rice was so amazing (it had barley and other things in) I ended up asking for a little more. They give you refills of tea(I'm not sure what type it was) instead of water, which tasted lovely and great if it's cold weather (which it is right now). We also got two hot drinks afterwards, itadakizen tea and oriental coffee. Both were really good. If you like sweet milky things I definitely recommend you try the tea, it was amazing! The coffee is black and had a roasted flavour. They gave us two of their sushis to try for free, which was very kind of them! And I bought some takeout sushi at the end which was convenient for busy days sightseeing. The overall cost for both of us only came to about 4000 which I think is really good value for the amount of food along with the delicious drinks and the takeout sushi too!
