A few weeks ago while out riding my motorcycle around Western CT, I finally got the chance to stop by Sweet Beet-- I've been meaning to for quite some time, but being from Mass, opportunities are limited. I wish I'd done so sooner. The cafe is more or less in the middle of nowhere. The interior is pristine and inviting, and the staff absolutely wonderful. I can honestly say that I've never felt more welcomed than I did at Sweet Beet. Everything on the menu is vegan, and the baked goods & sandwich I had were simply wonderful. I will definitely be heading back there, and taking specific care to do so.
