  • Loved, loved, loved this place!

I absolutely loved this place. We ate here twice, and I wouldn't have minded eating here even more than that. The location is cute with an attached bookstore, gift store, and children's reading area. The dining room is in a courtyard type area. On our first night, they didn't have the chile relleno or the dessert we wanted, but they gave us other options. We tried the ceviche (small portion but tasty) and the veggie burger. I thought the burger was really unique and enjoyed the flavor. They gave us a slice of a vegan pie that still remains a slight mystery - it was delicious, but I have no clue what was in it except perhaps cocoa and plantains. For our next visit, we were able to try the chiles rellenos. They came unfried, which was a totally different, healthier take than I've seen in the U.S. They were very tasty, and so was the plantain pie that followed. (It was a different pie than the previous visit, but even tastier!) They also have a little food shop where you can buy granola, cookies, nuts, seeds, chocolate, and other small items.
