• Great little cafe, much needed in the area

Very nice little counter-service cafe, a great addition to the area around 30th St Station. New as of fall 2013. A nice touch is the very fresh condiment and seasonings bar. Very friendly staff. Not everything was the same level of exciting, but here's what we tried: butternut squash soup (AWESOME) with fresh multigrain bread (AWESOME), lasagna (very good and very filling), Vietnamese tofu sandwich (again, amazing-quality bread, but less exciting as a sandwich). They'll let you taste any soup and both soups I tried were fantastic. Important note: the address shows up on maps as being on the corner; it is actually inside a big plaza in the middle of the block, just past the Shake Shack (so if you've got anybody with you who thinks they MUST have a burger, you can still go here and eat together in the nice outdoor seating :)).
