Fast, cheap and delicious! Ed Edge has come out with another brilliant idea: a storefront where you can buy his amazing cupcakes after you feast on soft tacos and po boys. For a takeout joint this place is very inviting and homey with artists work hanging on the walls, bright neon walls and a counter and bar stools ringing the room. Vegans have to be in the know here - the menu looks like a meat menu reading Beef, Fish, BBQ, Oyster, Potato, Mushroom and Carnitas - but it is all in fact vegan. The fish taco is amazing and the jackfruit BBQ is great too! My only qualm is no sides of guacamole - bring on the avocado Ed! Do not leave without cupcakes! The maple caramel is my favorite.
