• Nearly inedible

Just came from here having ordered a tom yum soup for 60thb and a red curry for 35 - inexpensive but not unusually so for Chiang Mai. The "curry" had some nice fresh vegetables but they were just swimming in oil with no curry flavor I could detect. The tom yum was literally inedible - spicy but without the sour lime and galangal flavor it should have. We left it nearly untouched. Lime soda was too sour to finish also. The buffet is 30thb a plate but the food is cold and looks unappetizing. We sat and waited for one of the 6 people working today to bring us menus or take our order but had to get up and find it all ourselves. Nice enough garden in the back and lovely ingredients but on the whole lacking in atmosphere, service, and flavor. Having lived in Chiang Mai for over a year and loving Thai food as much as I do, was very excited to try this place (despite having been turned away yesterday because they closed a half hour early) but will never come back and recommend my friends not come here either.
