- Almost-vegetarian gourmet tavern in Korčula
We ate here this summer and loved the food. The tomato soup was the best I've ever eaten in a restaurant. It is ideally located in the old part of town on a little square but we preferred to sit at one of the tables in a little alley where there was some afternoon breeze. All their food is freshly made. Their daily soups are always vegan, as well as home-made pasta with tomato or pesto sauce. Also chick-pea salad with vegetables and arugula is vegan. Baked polenta could also be prepared without cheese, just ask. A bowl-full of salad is an excellent choice for raw-foodists. We were just delighted by the home made onion marmalade which seems to be their specialty. Make sure you taste it.
