For a truly memorable old style, Indian fast / junk food experience in Delhi (outside of Chandini Chowk), go to Nathu's. It is dirty, crowded, cramped, lousy service, but always packed. Avoid the South Indian. STick to the chats and the North Indian and the amazing variety of Indian sweets. You will come out licking your fingers.
